N.B. The hospital entrance is actually on Derby Road, rather than Church Road, as the address suggests.
If you are travelling by car through Liverpool:
Follow signs in Liverpool City Centre for Birkenhead Tunnel. Drive through the tunnel (have £1.30 toll ready for payment on Birkenhead side) and once through the pay booths, take the flyover to the right. The flyover drops you onto Borough Road. At the second set of lights (Netto supermarket on your right) turn left up Whetstone Lane. About 150 yards up the hill, turn right onto Derby Road. After a few hundred yards, you'll see the entrance to St. Catherine's Hospital on your right.
If you are travelling by car via the M53:
Leave the M53 at Junction 3, taking the right-hand exit marked Birkenhead. Drive up the hill for several hundred yards, passing a Sainsbury's supermarket on your left. Go straight ahead at the lights that have the black and white Storeton pub on the right. At the next lights go straight ahead, down the hill of Singleton Avenue. At the bottom lights, turn left onto Borough Road and after 50 yards take the first turning on the right (end of central reservation) to drive up the hill of North Road.
